I would stop anyone from going to Afghanistan. My boyfriend went there for 2 months for holiday, Just came back with no emotions. He lost all love for everyone. He saw such cruelty there that most of the times he is numb about life. He saw…..people being blown up every second……people can’t communicate properly….basically no one there gives a shit about life. There’s kidnapping, rape, bombs, no one gives a toss about another person there….Please don’t go there until all troops have left and it is safe again. No doubt it was a beautiful place. I am sure it will change. I am strongly advising that no one goes there for any reason at all unless you are in the army and can protect yourself.

Erm I think not. Although the country is war torn, it has some incredibly beautiful architecture such as in East Afghanistan and the National Parks in Jalalabad. And to be honest, when i went there I actually wouldn’t have been able to known there was a war(if i hadn’t seen soldiers) as all the people seem lively and happy and well… normal, except the women in the burkas which you don’t see much of in the UK. I think Afghanistan doing pretty good considering the corruption of the Taliban, the attempt of the Soviet invasion, the ‘American vs Terrorists’ war (c’mon we all know that’s not what they’re really after) and the bombings. Although i have to admit there are quite a lot of children and tramps wandering around, but can this be blamed after all that Afghans have been through for the past nearly 2 decades?
